Sunday Pictures with the Family

Every Sunday we rotate going to my parents house and Nate's parents house for dinner. This Sunday we were at Nate's parents and we took a short little drive to visit grandma in the nursing home. It was great to see her and all the other cute ladies. Elli sure loves spending time with her cousins. Mayley is such a great big cousin to help out with Elli. I love this picture of the two of them. My favorite is the picture of the kids looking outside at the pool, holding onto the fence.

We had a great time at the San Diego Zoo. The weather couldn't have been any better!

More San Diego...

This is a shot of the car ride over. Elliana did great for the most part. On the drive home she struggled a little but who wouldn't?
Steve and Cyndi had this awesome wagon that we cruised around anytime we went for walks. The kids had a fun time riding in it.
Elli loved the ocean. She kicked and splashed and seemed to like how the sand felt on her feet.

Seal Lions that smell!

We stayed in a condo in Misson Beach but we went up the road a few miles to La Jolla so we could see the sea lions. It was a bit overcast and windy so we had to bundle up.

Playin' in the Sand

We got back last night from a fun trip to San Diego with our good friends, Steve and Cyndi Mullenaux. This was Elliana's first time playing in the sand and getting wet in the ocean. She was a little fussy over the weekend because she was teething but she seemed to have a good time anyway.

Hairlines

I love this shot because both Nate and Elliana have funky hairlines. Nate is so paranoid about his thinning and Elli has always had some crazy hair. She has calics everywhere and her hair starts halfway back on her head. Nate is doing good. He is always saying, "Lets just shave it all the way. I don't want to be the last one who knows that I am bald." You know how there is always that person that does the comb over or who just can't admit it? He doesn't want to be like that. They were watching a little basketball so I saw this as the perfect opportunity to snap a picture.

Elli's First Toothbrush

We aren't quite sure if she likes the toothbrush better or the packaging. She still doesn't have any teeth but I want her to LOVE brushing so why not start now? These are some hard concentration faces!

Peek-A-Boo

Elliana loves to play in boxes. I decided to record us playing a little peek-a-boo. I wish I didn't sound like such a dork when I do video but I guess that is just how I sound. :)

Pony Girl

Nate took Elliana to a friends birthday party and they had pony rides in the backyard! She is looking pretty serious in these pictures but Nate said she had a lot of fun.
