Hiking Makapu again, waiting for Elli
Playing at the beach, waiting for Elli
Playing in the car, waiting for Elli
Yay!  Elli and her teacher from the summer preschool program.  She is officially read for kindergarten.  We are sad as we had a little glimpse of what it will be like once school starts in August.  We will miss Elli every day!  She is our buddy for sure and helps a lot when she is around.

Who's Feet are Who's?

A little sucker bribe, workout for mom, and killing time while Elli is at preschool

Summertime at the Pool!

Taking Ice Cream Seriously...

June 2013-I realize Elli is missing in a lot of my pictures and its because she is at preschool!  I hate that kids have to grow up.  I already miss her!

 One Happy Girl!
 Lots of kiddos-lots of fun!
Bennett tearing up the cake cone.
For Elli's birthday this year we kept it simple by having it at our complex pool.  We served pizza for dinner and the kids just swam.  I had all the families come so I didn't have to worry about the kids while they were swimming.  It was the easiest party I have ever done!  I will definitely press repeat on this one...

Bennett loves ducks. He makes a pretty good duck sound too!  He actually makes some pretty funny animal sounds all together.  He can do a duck, monkey, rooster and turkey pretty good.  Once you ask him to do the turkey he won't stop.  He must like birds, since three of the four he imitates are birds.  I'm not sure how monkey made the list???

Hiking

June 2013-Went on a morning hike-Koko Head.  I can't remember how many steps it is up and back, but it was a good workout.
Beautiful view up top.

New House

Had to enlist some dishwashers since this new house has none!  Good thing I found these cute helpers!
We love the pool and spend most afternoons there.  The kids no longer have any desire to hit the beach.  It's a little sad, but it's definitely a lot easier.

Preschool Graduation

Walking into the classroom where the preschool graduation took place.  I love that the three just link up and are buddies.  All year we attended an awesome Hawaiian preschool called Na Pono No Na Ohana.  It was a family preschool for kids ages birth to five.  We loved playing together, learning some Hawaiian cultural/language and being around such diversity.  We will be attending again this year, only this time I will only be managing two kiddos.  Elli attended a separate program for kids entering kindergarten the following year and loved all her friends and teachers.
They didn't mess around.  This was legit!  800 leis later...
It's a tough thing, but she graduated from preschool! :)

Friends

Brinlyn and Kate always play so much better when the big sisters are gone.  It's sad to say but those big sisters really dominate.  Kate and Brinlyn had a blast playing in a bucket of water.  It's the little things in life...

Moving...

Chaos!  Moving with three small kids is not exactly my idea of fun, but the kids sure thought some aspects of it were.

SNOW!

When you live in Hawaii your kids really have no idea what snow even is.  So, thank goodness for some scientist who came up with chemicals you can mix to create some fluffy stuff called imitation snow.  My kids had a blast playing in this fluff but I guess it tells me we need to make a trip to the mainland in the winter so they can really experience it.
