I still don't have any pictures to post as our computer and cable to download pictures off our camera is still en route. This whole moving process has been crazy! We have been in Hawaii for almost two weeks now and loving it. We miss a lot of things about Arizona...mostly our family and friends. We are moving into the house we found to rent, on Friday. I am SO anxious to get our stuff and set it up like home. The kids have not seen their toys for 6 months and I'm sure it will feel like Christmas to them. My mom is coming to visit this next week which makes me so happy. My mom is one of my bestest friends so I can't wait to see her, even though it has only been two weeks away from her.
Just a little update for journaling purposes...
We are living in Kailua in a portion of someones house that they rent out. We are paying $1800 a month and it is only 670 square feet. There is only one bedroom so we are definitely in tight quarters. Brinlyn feels like she is a newborn apparently because she wakes up at least two times a night and sometimes more. I am going crazy with sleep deprivation as this child has been my sleep challenged child. I am anxious to get into our house so she can "cry it out", for the tenth time or so. Poor girl!
We have been enjoying the beautiful weather here and try to do something outside every day. The girls have been loving the beach!
I am still trying to understand the way people talk here. We are definitely minority which is something different for sure. We are loving the opportunity to meet all sorts of people though.
Nate is really liking his new job. He has already put in some serious hours which is lame for me. He normally leaves at 6:00 or 6:30 and doesn't get home until 6:00 or later. Three of the five days this week he was home after the girls were in bed. One day he worked for almost fifteen hours. Crazy! To top it off, his boss asked him to go to Virginia and Philadelphia for some training this month, making it so he is gone out of town for almost two weeks. As if the five months was not long enough to be away from your family?!?! I have a lot to get use to.
We really appreciate all the love and support we have recieved during this whole transition. I really hope to update this blog in the next couple weeks. I have pictures from Elli's b-day, our trip to Seattle, Nate's graduation, beaches...the list goes on and on.
