The cake...

We found out Monday night we will be adding a little boy to the Johnson family mix at the end of February. We are super excited! I can't even imagine what it will be like to have a boy but we are sure happy, especially Nate! We had the ultrasound and had the tech write down the gender for us without telling us at the appointment. We then took the paper to a friend of mine and she made the cake with blue frosting on the inside. We cut the cake to find our surprise. It was a fun evening!

Backyard Fun!

Twins? Nope, just friends that play almost every day. Our neighbors have the best backyard ever. The kids are entertained for hours! Elli and this little guy are only three weeks apart in age.
Action shot!
Rope swing fun!
Check out how many avocados they picked from their tree in just a day or two. That tree can produce! They took their kids to the corner and they sold these avocados and made $127. Dang! I need to plant an avocado tree too. :) We do have one in our yard which supplies plenty for our needs just not enough to supply the whole town!
Enjoying a little stand up swinging

Elli attempting to start a fire at the Polynesian Cultural Center. Thankfully she did not have any success!
This is probably the smallest fish you could possibly catch, but she did it!
Laie Temple
Matt and Lindsay came and stayed with us for a week. We loved every minute of it and were sad when it was time for them to leave. We did lots of fun things together and just had a blast catching up. We miss you guys and hope you can come out again soon! :)

And still more...

Brin sat still long enough to take a picture with me.
Elli cracking up over who knows what!
The girl of many faces
Elli got a make-up set from one of her friends and went to town. Good thing she has a few more years until it really matters what it looks like!

More Birthday Pictures

Cupcake face
I was at the sick point in my pregnancy for her party so the cupcakes were kind of lame. Her party was a butterfly theme so we cheated with candy cupcakes.
Make a wish!
Sweet little Elli. She was sure happy!

More Birthday Pictures

It was hard to chose which pictures to post because I gave my camera to my friend to take pictures of the party and she took 174 pictures!
You aren't suppose to have a boyfriend this young! Ahhhh! Elli and our neighbor play together all the time and are the best of friends...most the time
Happy Elli! I can't believe she is 4!
The kids making a run for it. We were playing red light, green light.

Elli's Birthday Post...Finally!

Brinlyn admiring her well done job. We played pin the antenna on the butterfly as one of the games.
Posing for a picture. Brinlyn, our neighbor and Elli.
We had about 12 little kiddos at the party which was perfect...just enough to play games and have fun but not too many to make it crazy.
Elli putting forth her effort at pin the antenna on the butterfly. She is wearing the outfit Grandma Karen got her for her birthday that she loves!
