Birthday Cake

I always post things backwards! So, here Elli has done the damage with the cupcake and has happily displayed a lot of it on her face and clothes.
The action shot of eating a sheep cupcake with Landon keeping his eye on her. You can tell he enjoyed some blue cupcake.

Blowing out the candles was a lot of fun for Elli and Landon. Kyle kept relighting them because the kids had such a blast blowing them out.

Waiting for the singing to start. Look at their hands all braced on the table just wanting so badly to jump on those cakes. They are too cute!

4th of July Birthday!

Elli was really intense this year when it came to opening presents. She didn't smile at all but you could tell she was really enjoying all the attention and new toys she was getting. She didn't want any help the whole time.
We had all our family over to my parents house for the 4th of July celebration and combined birthday party for Elli and Landon. This raft was quite the hit.

Just a cute little bootie shot!

I attempted to make a barn with animals for her cake this year. It definitely didn't turn out as cute as I wished, but hey it got the point across. She loved eating the sheep.

Girls Weekend...

We decided, meaning us girls, that we needed a break from being moms. We convinced the husbands and planned a weekend to do whatever we wanted without any kids. It was amazing! We started off the day by shopping. We each bought ourselves a little something and then headed off for dinner at The Elephant Bar. This picture was taken at the resturant and boy was it tasty! We went back to my house and stayed up until 2 am, (which I can't even remember the last time that happened), making cards, watching a movie, eating lots and chattting. We had breakfast, made more cards and then called it a day the next morning. It was so much fun to spend such quality time with some great ladies. I say we do it at least a few times a year! Thanks to all the dads who put up with a bunch of crazy kids.

Dress-up

It wouldn't be a playdate without a little dress-up, even for the boys, right? Elli loves wearing her heels, carrying purses and being a real girl. Tillman went along with it this time but I'm sure that won't last long.
Little princesses!
